di origine Burma e Giava. Il legno si presenta con durame
bruno dorato o variamente colorato, passante
con l'esposizione all'aria a tonalità più chiare
ed omogenee, di apparenza
grassa, a tessitura
grossolana
e filo diritto. Peso specifico stagionato all'aria da 0,55
a 0,80. E abbastanza agevole da lavorare. L'essiccazione
si fa lentamente ma senza difficoltà. L'ottima resistenza
naturale alle alterazioni rendono il Teak prezioso per costruzioni
navali e per opere comunque esposte alle intemperie nonché per
pavimenti. Viene importato dalla nostra Ditta già lavorato
all'origine e successivamente riselezionato per qualità e
tonalità di colore. |

 Burmta
and Giava are its countries of origin. This wood has a golden
brown or greenish brown sapwood that acquires darker shades
once exposed to the air and it sometimes reveals a blackish
variegation. It looks greasy; and has a coarse structure
and a straight grain. The specific weight once air seasoned
ranges from 0.55 to 0.80. It is rather easy to work. Drying
is carried out slowly but without any trouble. Its excellent
and natural resistance e to changes make Teak invaluable
in naval constructions and in any case for exterior works,
not to mention flooring. Our company imports Teak that has
been worked at back in its country of origin and we subsequently
reselect it for quality and colour tonality. |

 Burma
und Java sind die Ursprungsorte. Es hat goldbraunes oder
grünlichbraunes Kernholz, das in der Luft noch dunkler
wird. Manchmal hat es schwärzliche Streifen. Sein Aussehen
ist fettig, die Struktur ist grob und die Faser gerade. Sein
spezifisches Gewicht, nach Austrocknung in der Luft, ist
von 0,55 bis 0,80. Es ist ziemlich leicht bearbeitet zu werden.
Die Austrocknung erfolgt langsam aber ohne Schwierigkeiten.
Dank seinem natürlichen Veränderunsbestand ist
das Teak ideal für Schiffsbauten, Fußböden. |
